Education And Training
In addition to our clinical services, the Rebecca Center provides internship and practicum opportunities for students enrolled in music therapy degree programs that are accredited by the American Music Therapy Association (AMTA).
Training in Nordoff-Robbins Music Therapy
In collaboration with Molloy College's music therapy program, the center offers Post-Graduate Advanced Clinical Certification Training in Nordoff-Robbins Music Therapy. Music therapists who have completed or are in the process of completing a graduate degree in music therapy may apply to participate in this 10-month training program, where they will learn the clinical techniques and procedures of Nordoff-Robbins Music Therapy.
In-Service Training
The Rebecca Center is dedicated to advancing the field of music therapy by creating awareness and education through in-service training and lecturing at national and international conferences, community programs, schools, colleges and universities.
